Key Ingredients:

Olive Oil infused with Populus Balsamifera. Olive oil is a powerful, yet gentle oil to use for the body. It is rich in vitamins A, D, K and E. Olive oil is naturally high in antioxidants and specifically one called Squalene, which has been used with high popularity in skin care products due to it’s ability to to keep your skin hydrated by retaining moisture resulting in a more vibrant and healthy appearance. Olive oil can help fight skin damage and free radicals, and can also help to rid the skin of so-called "bad" bacteria. Populus Balsamifera, or Balsam Poplar oil has a warming energy that can ease sore muscles, sprains and arthritis. It has a pain relieving and soothing effect when used topically. The oil is also great at healing burns and cuts, as it is an antiseptic, antimicrobial and encourages skin cell proliferation. It is also anti-fungal and very high in antioxidants.

Apricot Kernel Oil is rich in Vitamin A and resembles the natural sebum produced in human skin, therefore it is noncomedogenic (won’t clog pores). It moisturizes dry, sensitive skin and smooths out blemishes, wrinkles, fine lines, and other symptoms of maturing skin. It is known to protect skin against damage caused by UV radiation, stimulates the production of collagen, slows the appearance of aging, stimulates cell regeneration, facilitates faster wound healing, protects the skin against toxins and bacteria, lightens unwanted blemishes and dark spots, and even clears pores by slowing the production of oil in the skin and thus preventing acne breakouts.

Castor Oil: Castor oil is prized for its ricinoleic acid, a compound in castor beans believed to help the body rid itself of excess toxins. Castor oil penetrates the skin and helps to stimulate the body’s production of collagen and elastin (which keep the skin plump), which can soften and hydrate the skin. It’s high level of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties help to minimize wrinkles and fight free radicals which may be the cause behind accelerated aging. Castor oil is believed to speed up hair growth.

HOW TO USE

Simply massage into skin after bath or shower to easy dry skin or add a few drops into a bath for added hydration. You can also use body oil to give yourself a lymphatic drainage massage. Your lymph system is part of your immune system. It absorbs excess fluid with waste and bacteria and moves it to your lymph nodes. The white blood cells in your lymph nodes filter out impurities and then the lymph vessels bring the fluid back into your bloodstream. Your lymph system doesn't have a central pump like the heart does to pump your blood. It works off of muscle contractions to move fluid - up to three litres a day! Lymphatic drainage massage can help to speed up this process of moving lymph fluid through the vessels. It's a gentle, light massage starting with the lymph nodes in the neck because that is the area where lymph fluid empties into the bloodstream - into the subclavian veins at the base of the neck.

As always, if you have any health concerns, consult your doctor before trying a new treatment.
